Basics Classes:

Stringing, silkcord knotting, pearl knotting, wire working, basic repair, special projects.


These are the first steps in learning to create your own custom jewelry pieces! Learn the basics of stringing with softflex, silk knotting, pearl knotting, basic to advanced wire working, making your own findings, or your own special projects.

 

Private Lesson – one person class

One, 60 min private class $55
Two, 60 min private classes $100
Three, 60 min private classes $135

Group Rate – parties of 2 or more
One, 60 min group class $45 per person
Two, 60 min group classes $85 per person
Three, 60 min group class $120 per person


 

Metals & Advanced Classes:

Beginning metalsmithing, stone setting, PMC, others.


Learn basic to advanced silversmithing techniques such s as cutting, piercing, cold process connections, soldering, surface texture, patinas, & stone setting. Precious Metal Clay (PMC) courses are also available.

Basics Class - a basic introduction

This is a great introductory class for the newly inspired! Our instructor will work with you to grow your basic skills to get you started designing and making your own jewelry. Basic wire working, stringing, and silkcord pearl knotting will be covered. Prep course for all metals & advanced classes.

 

(Re)Design, Revamp & Repair

Have a jewelry box full of unworn treasures? Bring them in for a little design attention, simple repairs, and style make-over! Our expert designer and jewelry artist is ready to help turn your bobbles back into treasures! This is a great "getting started" class for beginners! Basic skills such as beginning wire wrapping, basic stringing, and simple leather attachments will be covered - as well as a wealth of design inspiration! This is a fun one!

 

 

Wire Working I & II

Wire working I & II is a class designed to teach basic to advanced wire working to create custom pendants, simple to advanced earrings, and wire wrapped projects. Basic repairs using craft wire will also be covered.This is a great getting started class!

 

Make Your Own Findings
Learn to make your own clasps, earwires, and headpins using wire and hand tools. This is a wonderful class to take after simple wire working, or any basics class.

 

 

Metal Stamping

Learn to cut out basic shapes, finish, patina, add text, and texture to metal pieces. A wonderful introduction to beginning to think in metals.

 

 

Metals I: An Introduction
This important class introduces the student to the art of jewelry making through the proper use of hand tools, torches, flex shafts, polishers and more. Through personal instruction, close up demonstrations, and hands on experience, the student will learn how to layout, drill, pierce, file, form, solder, and polish sterling silver.

 

Metals II: Rings & Pendants
Metals II covers basic stone setting, making your own bezels, mixed metals, forming, and finishing techniques. This class will continue to build on the skills and techniques students have learned in Metals I. Additional techniques, such as stone setting, surface texture, soldering findings, making a bezel, stamping, and more will be introduced.
